I am a U.S. Air Force, Viet Nam veteran. After my discharge from the military, I attended California State University Long Beach and received a degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. After college, I began working for the Federal Bureau of Prisons (B.O.P.). In 1989, I transferred to the new prison in Sheridan as part of the activation team. I retired from the B.O.P. in early 2007.
I am married to Laura and we have two sons and a daughter. My kids are Sheridan High School graduates. I am in my twelfth year on the school board. I think every child has the potential and ability to learn. As a board member, every decision we make, we have to ask ourselves; How will this effect the kids in the district. I really enjoy being part of the Sheridan School District. We have great students and staff!
