Samantha Bagby

I attended the Sheridan School District from Kindergarten until I graduated high school in 2001. Now my three children attend Sheridan School Districts Charter school SHAPA. My family owns a small farm outside of Sheridan in the Buell area where we manage cattle, goats, chickens, horses and trees.

My husband and I also own a small woodworking business which I operate on the farm from my woodshop. I have also been very active in the Sheridan FFA Alumni over the years and have worked alongside many volunteers to keep that program strong for future students. I also serve as a 4-H leader in Polk County and am now in my 24^th year doing so.

This last year I retired from judging livestock around the west coast after traveling every summer for the last 23 years. I value the time I’ve been on the school board and love seeing the positive impact on students as well as staff. All students deserve a good education in a safe learning environment, and I strive to help make that possible.
