Inclement Weather and Emergency Closure Procedures

Notifications will be sent using ParentSquare if there is a school closure, 2 Hour Delay, or if buses will be on snow routes.  ***Please make sure your contact information in ParentSquare is up-to-date***

Our goal is to notify families of closures by 6:25am, however call out times may vary based on circumstances.

EMERGENCY CLOSURES – Policy EBCD
In the event of hazardous or emergency conditions, all district schools or selected schools or grade levels may be closed or schedules altered to provide delayed openings of school and/or early dismissal of students, as appropriate.

Superintendent will consult with the transportation company.  The District will post the information on-line using FlashAlert ( http://www.flashalert.net/ ).  You will see the posted information on these stations/sites:

Bussing Information

Check your television, radio, or www.FlashAlert.net for announcements concerning transportation.

If busses are on SNOW ROUTES, the following roads are affected: Please check your ‘At a glance‘ sheet for snow route stop times!

• No bus transportation on Red Prairie and Harmony Road. Bus #1 will pick up students at the corner of Savage road, Harmony and Mill Street at approximately 7:04 am.
• No bus transportation on Upper Cherry Hill Road.  Bus #2 will pick up at Selby Ln and Cherry Hill at 7:26 am.
• No bus transportation on Thompson Mill, Upper Gopher Valley roads, Dupee Valley  or Grauer roads.  Bus #3 will pick up students at the corner of Gopher Valley and Thompson Mill intersection at approximately 7:15 am, Grauer and Gopher Valley at 7:29 am.
• No bus transportation on  Gutbrod or North Evans. Bus #4 will pick up students at the corner of Evans & Blair at approximately 7:35 am.
• No bus transportation on Beaver Creek Rd. Bus #7 will pick up students at Beaver Creek and Gopher Valley at approximately 7:23 a.m.

ALL BUSSES COULD HAVE DELAYS ON INCLEMENT WEATHER DAYS
